2 Corinthians 3:1 KJVS
“Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?”
Paul was speaking to those in Corinth who needed no letters of praise, neither did Paul need letters of praise from them.
Paul was used by our Lord Jesus Christ to establish that church so it may go for forth and present the Gospel of Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:2 KJVS
“Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:”
Those who were obedient to our Heavenly Father through Christ in Corinth were a walking and living letter of proof of a ministry set forth and established by Christ through Paul and others. This ministry preached Christ crucified in which the Old Testament foretold of. What was known and read of all men through this ministry was etched into their hearts as they walked forward with the everlasting Gospel of Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:3-5 KJVS
“Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. [4] And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: [5] Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;”
Indeed, what was written on the fleshly tables of their heart is Gods truth, and that truth can only be given to them by God, through our Lord Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit: truth that is sufficient enough to each individual according to their measure.
2 Corinthians 3:6 KJVS
“Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”
The New Testament was the new Covenant that was made to us all in Matthew Chapter 26 verses 27 through 28. It was through Christs precious blood that was shed on the cross which brought in this New Covenant that gave us all the Promise of eternal life. Paul was one of many, who established and set forth to bring this ministry of life to others such as the Church of God in Corinth.
2 Corinthians 3:7 KJVS
“But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:”
This glory on Moses face was written about here in Exodus Chapter 34.
Exodus 34:29-35 KJVS
“And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. [30] And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. [31] And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them. [32] And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the Lord had spoken with him in mount Sinai. [33] And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face. [34] But when Moses went in before the Lord to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded. [35] And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.”
2 Corinthians 3:8-9 KJVS
“How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? [9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.”
The ministry of condemnation means judgment, that means to condemn and the law condemns transgression. However, the ministry of righteousness which means justification, justifies us through the atoning blood of Christ. The Law could not make us perfect however through Christ death burial and resurrection we are justified by His blood through faith and repentance. Therefore, the glory of the new Covenant exceeds that which is the old.

2 Corinthians 3:10-11 KJVS
“For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. [11] For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.”
The oldness of the letter could not give us eternal life, therefore Christ who is our mediator of the New Covenant (Hebrews Chapter 9) had to be crucified to bring us into the Glory of Him and our Heavenly Father with the Holy Spirit who are one
2 Corinthians 3:12-14 KJVS
Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: [13] And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: [14] But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
Written upon our Hearts is an understanding of our Heavenly Fathers overall truth, that is within the Law and the Prophets of the Old Testament, and the Gospels and Epistles of the New. The Glory, which is the shekinah Glory of our Lord, that was upon Moses face under his vail of protection, eventually faded, however due to the vail over our hearts being done away through our Lord Jesus Christ death burial and resurrection we may look and behold to the end all things that must transpire that are written within our Heavenly Fathers Word. When Christ died the temple veil was rented in twain, which symbolized our Lord Jesus Christs flesh (Matthew Chapter 27:51, Mark Chapter 15:38, Luke Chapter 23:45 and Hebrews Chapter 10 verses 19 and 20). Because of that powerful price He paid on the cross for our sins we are given an opportunity to repent for our sins and behold to the end of all things that must transpire that are written within our Heavenly Fathers Word.

It is only through the shekiniah Glory of His Holy Spirit which we receive upon our belief in Him, that we may access such knowledge; at least to the extent of that which is given to you according to His will and good pleasure
2 Corinthians 3:15-18 KJVS
“But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. [16] Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. [17] Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. [18] But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
To fully understand the Old Testament, we must accept the New and Christ made it possible to understand all fulfillment of scripture after the vail of our minds are removed so we can see more spiritually (Romans Chapter 12:2).

Receiving the Holy Spirit upon our belief in our Lord Jesus Christ gives us the liberty to behold the fulfillment of all scripture up to the very end so we may understand as we have borne the image of the earthly, we shall also bear the image of the Heavenly in Christ who IS The only Way, Truth and Life (1st Corinthians Chapter 15 verses 35 -49).
The vail has been removed; the Glory of the Lord is for our eyes to behold.
The end.
