Ezekiel 21:1-2 KJVS
“And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [2] Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,”
The Word of our Lord is Jesus Christ (John Chapter 1 verses 1 through 5 and 14) and out of His mouth comes a sharp two-edged Sword written about in Revelation Chapter 1 verse 16.
Here in Eziekiel Chapter 21 verse 1, our Heavenly Father commanded Ezekiel to set his face toward Jerusalem and drop thy Word towards and the Holy places and prophecy against the land of Israel.
Ezekiel 21:3 KJVS
“And say to the land of Israel, thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.”
Here in verse 3 we are getting a look at another sword which is opposite of the two-edged Sword that comes out of our Lord Jesus Christ mouth.
It will be in the middle of the five-month long hour of temptation when Satan will appear as the Antichrist in Jerusalem claiming to be the true Christ return. This appearence of Satan as the Antichrist, which the king of Babylon of old was a type of, will transpire at the Sixth Trumpet and will spiritually slay the third of the world who are Christians. This great deception which is opposite of Gods Truth is the sword that God will allow to go forth and fall upon many.
Ezekiel 21:4-5 KJVS
“Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: [5] That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.”
From the north to the south, which means prophetically Satan’s deception, which our Heavenly Fathers Word warned us about, will fully engulf most of the world which will include the third of the world’s population who are Christians.
After Satans ultimate deception is sent out at the sixth trumpet, it will be destroyed two and a half months later at the Seventh Trumpet when the true Christ returns who is the true Word of God (Revelation Chapter 19 verses 11 through 16).
After Satans deception is destroyed it will not be able to return.
Ezekiel 21:6 KJVS
“Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.”
It will be a sad and dark time during the latter half (two and a half months) of the five-month period which again is the time span of the sixth trumpet, because in that short space of time the king of Babylon of the end times, who is Satan, will have fully conquered most of Christianity with his deception. However, there will be those who will escape that deception before the seventh trumpet sounds, and those who dont will be found spiritually naked upon the true Christ return.
I’d like to point out something interesting here in Eziekiel Chapter 21 verses 3 through 5 our Heavenly Father mentioned three times, that He will draw out His sword out of its sheath. Perhaps mentioning the drawing of this sword three times symbolizes the third who are Christians being spiritually slain by the sword of Satan’s allowed deception at the sixth seal, sixth trumpet and the sixth vial.
Satan’s captivity is confusion, and the Babylon of old was used as type to show us his spiritual takeover that will happen at the sixth trumpet.
Ezekiel 21:7 KJVS
“And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord God.”
Just like the Babylonian captivity of old had to come to pass, this captivity of Satan as the Antichrist, which is prophetically written about in the Book of Jeremiah and Ezekiel, will have to come to pass also.
Ezekiel 21:8-10 KJVS
“Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [9] Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord ; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: [10] It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree.”
Satan’s deception which is the complete opposite of Gods truth despises the rod, which means scepter, and it despises that scepter as every tree.
In Revalation Chapter 8 in verse 7 we see what will happen to the third of the trees which are Christians within the First Trumpet. It will be at the full fruition of the first trumpet when all six trumpets of deception are sounding together at the same time that Satans deception will spiritually burn up the third who are Christians. That deception from the king of confusion will be against any rule of pure Christianity that our Lord Jesus Christ is the head of.
Ezekiel 21:11 KJVS
“And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.”
Yes, our Heavenly Father is going to allow this sword to go forth through the last king of Babylon and as our Heavenly Father sent Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, against Judah, He is sending Satan through his appearance as the false Christ to prove His children.
Remember what our Heavenly Father said about Nebuchadnezzar in two places in the Bible?
Jeremiah 27:4-6 KJVS
“And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters; [5] I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me. [6] And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.”
Jeremiah 43:8-11 KJVS
“Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying, [9] Take great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah; [10] And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them. [11] And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such as are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword.”
Nebuchadnezzar who was the king of Babylon of old was used as a strong type for Satans appearence as the Antichrist, and Babylon means confusion. If we also take look at Revalation Chapter 17 we can see that Satan’s confusion will sit in the third who are Christians that will make up the spiritual harlot at the sixth seal, sixth trumpet, and the sixth vial.
Revelation 17:1-5 KJVS
“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: [2] With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. [3] So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. [4] And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: [5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
Also remember this sword, which is opposite of our Heavenly Fathers Truth through our Lord Jesus Christ, will be allowed to go forth and fall upon most of our Heavenly Fathers children because many of Gods children recieve not the love of Gods Truth.
Lets go to 2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 KJVS
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
It says in verse 11 “for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie. Why?
Because they receive not the love of truth.
God is going to allow this to happen.
What should we be receiving during this time which is within the final generation? We should be receiving our Heavenly Fathers Word, which is the opposite of Satan’s seeds of deception and his ultimate deception that will come upon the world before this final generation ends.
In Hebrews Chapter 4 we see the opposite of Satan’s deception, we see the Sword that helps us discern between good and evil.
Hebrews 4:12 KJVS
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
The Word of God is a discerner of thoughts and the intents of the heart so we may understand what has been, what to watch now, and prepares us and protects from what is to come…
and what is coming is a hand that will be allowed to spiritually slay many.
