Matthew 5:1-3 KJVS
“And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: [2] And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, [3] Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.“
Christ was teaching His Disciples, away from the multitudes.
“Blessed are the Poor in Spirit.”
Let’s look at Poor in the Greek Translation.

Matthew 5:4-6 KJVS
“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. [5] Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. [6] Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
This study we will look at the poor in spirit.
But first of all we have the Lion, who will represent the three Christian nations during the five-month long Hour of Temptation, that will have Gods wings of protection plucked from them the middle of the five-months, at the sounding of the Sixth Trumpet. This is when Satan appears as the false Christ.
Daniel 7:2-4 KJVS
“ Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. [3] And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. [4] The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.”
Unlike the Lion, which will make up the third of the world’s population who are Christians during the first half of the five-month long hour of temptation, the poor in spirit will keep Gods wings of protection and not lose them.
Revelation 12:13-14 KJVS
“ And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child . [14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”
For the first half ( time times and a half of time) of the five-month long hour of temptation, the third of the world’s population that will make up most of Christianity, will keep Gods wings of eternal protection upon them until they are plucked up into Satan’s deception beginning in the latter half of that hour, at the sixth trumpet.
Nourishment to our eternal inheritance comes from our Heavenly Father and leading up to and throughout the five-month long hour of temptation our Heavenly Father’s loyal and faithful servants will keep that thirst and hunger for our Heavenly Fathers words and won’t forsake them.
Amos 5:4-6 KJVS
[4] “For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: [5] But seek not Beth-el, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Beth-el shall come to nought. [6] Seek the Lord , and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it , and there be none to quench it in Beth-el.”
Before Satan makes his appearance as the antichrist in the middle of the Hour of Temptation at 666, the Lion which will make up most of third of Christians, will to a point forsake the need of spiritual nourishment that can only come from our Heavenly Fathers’ words.
They will eat and drink lies until they become full of Satan’s deception when the sixth angel sounds. The third of the world’s population will make up the Lion throughout the first half of the five-month long hour of temptation until becoming one with Satan, and right now, although not the lion as of yet, Christians are already eating and drinking (spiritually speaking) strange things. Look around you today (Matthew Chapter 16 Verse 6 through 12.)
Most of Christianity today are unfortunately eating false doctrines and drinkIng bitter water. These fillers that enter into the Body of Christ will ultimately lead Christians to be plucked up away from our Heavenly Father, at the sixth trumpet. Doctrines with no spiritual nutrition, if I may say.
The third of the world’s population that will be made up of Christians during the five-month long hour of temptation, will ultimately be led to the false communion of antichrist in the middle of that five-month period at the Woe of the Sixth Trumpet.
At that time, when the sixth trumpet sounds, they will drink the false wine and eat the false bread of life. This false communion will pluck them out of their eternal inheritance.
However, I believe, those of Gods servants who remain poor in spirit, will continue to eat and drink which is good.
As we move along in this study, remember Christs teachings here in Matthew Chapter 5 were primarily directed to His disciples.
Matthew 5:6 KJVS
[6] “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
I believe the Ark can be symbolic of Gods truth, and the poor in spirit thirst, and hunger after that truth, so they may serve our Heavenly Father (Matthew Chapter 13 Verses 44 through 48.)
Matthew 5:7 KJVS
[7]” Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.“
Matthew 5:8-9 KJVS
[8]” Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. [9] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.“
Gods’ servants show mercy, they are pure in heart, and they are peacemakers (1st Corinthians Chapter 13.)
Although nobody is perfect, these are attributes Gods servant’s strive for.
Matthew 5:10-12 KJVS
[10] “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. [12] Rejoice and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. “
Gods Servants who are the poor (humble) in spirit have been persecuted throughout the centuries in this second world age, and many have been and are persecuted, during this final generation in which we are living in now, and those who will remain faithful and loyal servants to our Heavenly Father towards the end of this final generation will be persecuted during the latter half of the hour of temptation which is the time span of the sixth trumpet.
Remember there is remnant of God’s total 7000 Elect that have been and are brought through this second world age in each of their appointed generations.
Luke 21:12-18 KJVS
[12] “But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you , delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake. [13] And it shall turn to you for a testimony. [14] Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: [15] For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. [16] And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. [17] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. [18] But there shall not an hair of your head perish.”
Not one hair on the servants of God heads will be harmed when they are to be delivered up to Satan when he appears as the antichrist. Another name for Satan is death.
The salt of the earth.
Matthew 5:13 KJVS
“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”
Poor, meek, and the humble are best ways to describe the servants of God during this final generation, and throughout the Hour of Temptation, for they are the salt of the earth.
In the middle of the five- month long hour of temptation when the king of pride who is Satan makes his appearance in Jerusalem claiming to be Jesus, Gods servant’s will remain open vessels for our Heavenly Father to speak through (Mark Chapter 13 verses 9 through 11.)
It is all about our Heavenly Father, not them. They are not, and they will refrain from being prideful.
Let’s Look at a humble servant, Elisha
2 Kings 2:19 KJVS
“ And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.“
The men of the city told Elisha that the situation of the city is pleasant, as their lord seeth.

The third part of the earth who will cease to be Christians, will be taken in Satan’s flood of lies when he will appear in Jerusalem in the middle of the five- month long hour of temptation at the sixth trumpet, and they will believe the confusion which the city Babylon is symbolic of (Revelation Chapter 18) is spiritually pleasant, and wealthy.
During the sixth seal, sixth trumpet, and the sixth vial the state of confusion they will be in will be appear to them to be pleasant, and the riches of deception from the last king of Babylon, who is the king of their confusion, will be corrupt.
In 2nd Kings Chapter 2 verse 19 we see that the men of the city said the water is naught.

The water in the city was wrong, horrible, grievous, noisome, and wretched. In a prophetical sense the flood of lies from Satan’s mouth will be horrible, grievous, noisome, and wretched when it pours out upon the whore, who will represent the third who cease being Christians at that time, and who will sit upon the waters that represents the people, multitudes nations and tounges.
Revelation 17:15 KJVS[15] And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
As you can see it is the latter half of the hour of temptation at the woe of the sixth trumpet, the third who will have represented most of Christianity will be thrown into the sea of people, thus becoming spiritually dead also, by believing that Satan is the true Christ return. The third of the world who cease being Christians at the sixth trumpet will join the rest of the world, in becoming naught
Revelation 8:8-9 KJVS[8] “And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; [9] And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.”
This mountain that is cast into the sea at the sixth trumpet is the Christian nation, which the third will represent.
When all six trumpets are sounding at the same time, all six vials will have been poured upon the earth thus causing spiritual death, and a one world religious rule under Satan.
Revelation 16:12-14 KJVS
“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. [13] And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. [14] For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
The water thereof will be dried up which represents the living water that gives eternal life, and truth, and He who is Jesus Christ will no longer be in the third who were Christians, because they will replace Him for Satan at 666. Again, the third who represents most of Christianity at that time will become spiritually dead just like the rest of the world who lacked Christ to begin with and will be in need of healing that only Jesus Christ can bring through the power of the Holy Spirit. Salt of the earth.
Daniel 9:27 KJVS
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.“
Satan will confirm a covenant with many for one week, and that is Daniel’s Seventieth Week which is five months. It is in the middle of that week (five -months) Satan will have to appear as the antichrist to cause the sacrifice, and oblation to cease to the true Christ, thus causing the false communion.
Moving on in 2nd Kings with Elisha,
2 Kings 2:20-21 KJVS
“And he said, bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him. [21] And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord , I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land .”
2 Kings 2:21-22 KJVS
“And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land. [22] So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.”
We see that our Heavenly Father does the same during sixth seal, sixth trumpet, and the sixth vial, when He speaks through His predestined servants, the 232 final remnant that are the church of Philadelphia and eventually the 144,000 who are the church of Smyrna
Mark 13:9-11 KJVS
“But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. [10] And the gospel must first be published among all nations. [11] But when they shall lead you , and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.”
The Holy Spirit will issue the Latter Rain through the servants of our Heavenly Father during the latter half of the hour of temptation. The Latter Rain will start the process of healing the waters and bringing many of them back, and many of them to spiritual Life.
The meek and poor in spirit are, and will be used by our Heavenly Father
for His glory, not theirs. They who are our Heavenly Fathers loyal humble servants are the salt of the earth.
For where their treasure is, so will be their hearts.
Luke 12:31-34 KJVS[31] “But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. [32] Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. [33] Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. [34] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
